Mangiatoia is powder-coated steel with rubber trim at 3.6 × 3.6 m — yard equipment specified for the horse that tests it rather than the one in the brochure.
Hot-dip galvanised after fabrication rather than made from pre-galvanised sheet, so the cut edges are protected too. Every corner is radiused.
Galvanising needs nothing; a scratch can be touched in with cold zinc paint. It takes a winter of mud and a summer of sweat without giving up.
