Cavalleta Endurance Saddle, Buffalo

Made for a rider schooling five days a week, Cavalleta is a endurance saddle with a deep enough seat to be secure and a flat enough one to sit still.

The tree is checked for symmetry before the leather goes on, and the stirrup bars are recessed so nothing sits under the rider's thigh. Billets are triple-stitched to a webbing anchor rather than tacked into the tree.

Store it on a proper rack, not over a door, or the panels will take the shape of whatever it is hanging on. It takes a winter of mud and a summer of sweat without giving up.

Spare parts and replacement straps stay available for years, because tack is bought to be repaired rather than replaced.
