Vaquerro Custom-Fitted Competition Saddle, Bridle Leather

Made for a rider schooling five days a week, Vaquerro is a custom-fitted competition saddle with a deep enough seat to be secure and a flat enough one to sit still.

The tree is checked for symmetry before the leather goes on, and the stirrup bars are recessed so nothing sits under the rider's thigh. Billets are triple-stitched to a webbing anchor rather than tacked into the tree.

Have the fit checked twice a year and after any change in the horse's workload — a saddle that fitted in May rarely fits the same in October. It takes a winter of mud and a summer of sweat without giving up.
