Falconetti Pony Saddle, Synthetic

Falconetti is a pony saddle built on synthetic microfibre on a composite tree — the sort of saddle you stop noticing by the second week, which is the only compliment that matters.

The tree is checked for symmetry before the leather goes on, and the stirrup bars are recessed so nothing sits under the rider's thigh. Billets are triple-stitched to a webbing anchor rather than tacked into the tree.

Have the fit checked twice a year and after any change in the horse's workload — a saddle that fitted in May rarely fits the same in October. It takes a winter of mud and a summer of sweat without giving up.
