The girth line on Stuoia is relieved at the elbow, which is where most girths actually rub.
Anatomically shaped leather against the horse, wicking and smooth-faced, with a spine channel that stays open under load rather than flattening onto the vertebrae.
Sheepskin should be washed cool with a wool detergent and dried flat. Left in daily use, it comes back from a season looking like it has been cared for rather than survived.
