For a yard that turns out twenty horses before breakfast, Stinchetto is the boot that goes on before every session and washes clean afterwards in a bucket.
The shell is moulded rather than cut flat, so it follows the tendon instead of pressing across it. The lining is smooth-faced and quick-drying.
Replace the straps when the elastic goes rather than the whole boot. It takes a winter of mud and a summer of sweat without giving up.
