The girth line on Cinghia is relieved at the elbow, which is where most girths actually rub.
Stainless steel with a wide tread against the horse, wicking and smooth-faced, with a spine channel that stays open under load rather than flattening onto the vertebrae.
Sheepskin should be washed cool with a wool detergent and dried flat. Wash it, oil it, and it will outlast several of the horses it is fitted to.
