Sellavera Dressage Saddle, Calfskin

Sellavera is a dressage saddle built on full-grain calfskin over a laminated beech tree — the sort of saddle you stop noticing by the second week, which is the only compliment that matters.

The tree is checked for symmetry before the leather goes on, and the stirrup bars are recessed so nothing sits under the rider's thigh. Billets are triple-stitched to a webbing anchor rather than tacked into the tree.

Store it on a proper rack, not over a door, or the panels will take the shape of whatever it is hanging on. Left in daily use, it comes back from a season looking like it has been cared for rather than survived.
